Our History

Cass County bankers Bill McDaniel, Chairman, and Jack Hopkins, Vice Chairman; and local businessman Steve Zahn, were the initial organizers and felt that 2006 was the time to start a new, locally owned, community bank in Pleasant Hill. The Bank has 150 stockholders and the majority of them live in the Pleasant Hill area. The Bank was chartered by the State of Missouri. It is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Federal Reserve System. The Bank opened for business on December 4, 2006.

Director Ron Rodgers is President and has over 38 years of banking experience including community banking in the southeast Kansas City area. Directors Jeff McKee, David Parris, Robert Radmacher, Steve Zahn; and Advisory Director Don Patterson, are all Pleasant Hill business managers. Jeff is President of Country Creek Golf Club, Inc. David is a co-owner of Parris Farms, L.L.C. Robert is President of Radmacher Brothers Excavating Co., Inc. Steve is a franchisee and owner of Sonic Drive-Ins in four states. Don is a real estate investor and a retired builder/developer.
