It is the policy of Community Bank of Pleasant Hill not to disclose any nonpublic personal information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. We disclose only that information that is necessary to effect, administer, or enforce a transaction that a customer requests or authorizes. In addition, access to nonpublic personal information about our customers is restricted to bank employees who need to know that information in order to effect, administer or enforce a transaction as authorized. To protect the privacy of our customers, we have security practices and procedures in place to ensure the confidentiality of the information we collect.
A review of our Privacy Policy will be conducted annually and will be by individual(s) not directly involved with the collection of data. The scope of this review will determine whether the information collected is necessary, whether the information shared with affiliates and non-affiliated third parties is necessary, and to insure that customers/consumers are receiving notices in accordance with this policy. The review will also address the privacy compliance procedures which should be followed by all bank personnel.
Community Bank of Pleasant Hill does not disclose any nonpublic information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law. The information we collect is used only to effect, administer or enforce a transaction. We do not provide information to non-affiliated third parties to be utilized in marketing or to be sold to vendors for any other purpose except as authorized by law. All contracts between the bank and non-affiliated third parties will have a specific privacy terminology stating that information provided may be used only for marketing our own bank products and cannot be used for any other purpose.
Privacy Definitions
- Affiliate--any company that controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with another company; those parties who share common ownership or employees.
- Collect--the process of obtaining information that is organized or can be retrieved by the name of an individual, or by identifying number, symbol or other identifying particular assigned to the individual.
- Consumer--individual who obtains or has obtained a financial product or service that is to be used primarily for personal, family, or household purposes, or that individual's legal representative. A consumer includes an individual who applies for credit, regardless of whether or not the credit is extended; and an individual who provides information in connection with obtaining or seeking to obtain financial services, regardless of whether or not the relationship is established.
- Customer--a consumer who has a continuing relationship where one or more financial product or service is provided, that is used primarily for personal, family or household purposes.
- Continuing Relationship--a consumer has a continuing relationship if the consumer has at least a deposit account, or obtains a loan, or holds an investment product through our bank.
- Non-affiliated Third Party--any person or entity that is not a legal affiliate; however for the purposes of this policy, a non-affiliated third party will include, but will not be limited to, those parties who perform services for the bank or who functions on the bank's behalf.
- Nonpublic Personal Information--personally identifiable financial information; any list, description, or other grouping of consumers that is derived using any personally identifiable financial information that is not publicly available.
- Former Customer--a customer becomes a former customer when:
- a deposit account is inactive;
- the customer pays a closed end loan in full, we charge off the loan or sell the loan without retaining servicing rights;
- a credit card relationship or other open-end credit relationship is no longer provided statements or notices concerning that relationship or we sell the credit card receivables without retaining servicing rights;
- or, the Bank has not communicated with the customer about the relationship for a period of 12 months, other than to provide annual privacy notices or promotional material.
Important Information About Procedures For Opening a New Account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

Community Bank of Pleasant Hill may collect the following information for use in establishing a deposit or a loan account:

- Social security number and date of birth
- Place of employment and work phone number

- Determine if resident of State of Missouri for last 5 years
- Drivers license number; backup withholding status
- Any other information we may deem necessary to transact the opening of your account.

- Name, present address (street, city, state, zip), home phone number
- Social security number, age, years of school
- Marital status, number of dependents and their ages
- Length of time at present address: own or rent?
- Former address if less than two years; length of time there: own or rent?

- Monthly employment income, other monthly income
- Number of years on current job and profession
- Previous employer if less than two years on current job
- Income verification, which may include copy of Federal Income Tax Return and paystubs
- Monthly housing expense, other monthly expenses
- All asset and liability information;
- Co-maker/endorser on other note? Bankruptcy within last 7 years?

- Information as to current real estate owned; details of real estate transaction
