In the Community

The purpose of this program is to show our appreciation to active-duty service members that are away from home for the holidays. In doing so it gives us the opportunity to strengthen the bond we have within our community as we work together as a team to bring these individuals a little bit of holiday cheer!

This year we had over 350 decorated boxes to send to destinations including: Abu Dhabi, Germany, Korea, Iraq, Rota, and Spain. These little Christmas boxes were filled with protein/granola bars, beef jerky, crackers, cookies, ramen, mac and cheese, chips, gum, cards, socks, and letters and ornaments personalized by many local students. Here at Pleasant Hill we sold custom-made cozies and t-shirts, had a bake sale, held a special quilt raffle, and also did a Chiefs raffle that in total brought in over $2,000 to help make all of this possible!!

We are incredibly thankful to every customer, school group, business, and organization that helped make this happen. We couldn't have done it without the outpouring amount of support!
